Hilary Clinton dreamed of becoming an astronaut!

The robust and strong presidential candidate we know today had different ambitions as a child. Back when Hilary Clinton was still Hilary Rodham she wanted something quite different from life and not politics. She was inspired by Amelia Earhart to become an astronaut. However, her dreams were shattered at age 13 when NASA rejected her career choice by informing her that there wouldn’t be any woman astronauts in the near future.

She is the “first of many firsts”.

She is the first presidential spouse to earn a postgraduate degree and the first to be elected to national office. When Hillary Clinton was elected to U.S. senate in 2001, she became the first American first lady to ever win a public office seat.  In 2016, she became the first woman in U.S. history to become the presidential nominee of a major political party.

The “first first couple” to be fingerprinted by FBI

This had occurred due to the incident called “filegate” which occurred during the Clinton presidency. Allegations were made in 1996 that the first couple’s administration had access to FBI documents between the years 1993 and 1994. The senate judiciary committee was concerned that a so-called “dirty tricks” operation had supposedly been carried out by the first couple.  Therefore a finger print analysis was run on demand of higher authorities, Hilary Clinton became the “only first lady” and Bill Clinton became the first president to be fingerprinted while in office.

Hillary Clinton is a Grammy award winner!

Hilary Clinton won the Grammy in 1997. She was awarded for the best spoken word album for the audio version of her book “It takes a Village.” After accepting the award in an elegant sleeved gown in New York, she rushed back to Washington the very same night for a state dinner with the president of Chile.

The only first lady to be subpoenaed in the US history.

Hilary Clinton was subpoenaed for her involvement on the Whitewater controversy.  It had developed during Bill Clinton’s presidential campaign. Both President Clinton and the First Lady were issued a grand jury subpoena for all their documents relating to the case. This made her the only First Lady in history to be issued with a subpoena.

Clinton wanted to be a marine but was rejected.

When Hilary asked a marine recruiter about joining the force when she was 27 years old, he replied, “You’re too old, you can’t see and you’re a woman… Maybe the dogs (the army) will take you!”  She still claims that it was not at all an encouraging conversation and she looked for an alternative way to serve her country, so she joined politics. Call that destiny!

She retained her maiden name for many years after marriage.

Hilary Clinton remained Hillary Diane Rodham for many years after marrying Bill Clinton. She refrained from adopting his surname to maintain her individuality and lead a normal life secluded from politics.

  1. Can’t you just see Hitlary as a “JAR HEAD?” Oh wait a minute, she hates the military. Another think I guess. Maybe similar to the “Sniper Fire” incident!
